House Mountain Trail overlooks from the 2,100-foot crest of House Mountain scan the parallel ranges of the Unakas and Cumberlands some 30 miles away. The trails leading to Knox County's highest point are fairly steep through heavily wooded terrain dotted with impressive rock outcrops. There are many trails and variations to the area but this hike will be described as a loop hike in counter clock motion.

House Mountain is a 3.9 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Corryton, Tennessee that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
