North and South Old Mac Mountain Loop is a 8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Wartburg, Tennessee that features a river and is rated as moderate.

At the end of this trail, there is a jeep trail that hikers can take south, which leads to a nice overlook. The tower is often open to climb, which is a treat for all hikers. Once you've stopped to admire the views, head north to find the North Old Mac Trail. This descent will take you back to the trailhead.

The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
