Mt. LeConte

Trail Head Location: Along 441
Length: 10 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Very Strenuous

Mt. LeConte is one of the popular hiking trails in the Smoky Mountains. 

Spruce Falls

Trail Head Location: Tremont Institute
Length: 1.4 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Easy

Spruce Flats falls is a 30 foot fan style cascade waterfall along the Spruce Flats Branch

Laurel Falls

Trail Head Location: Gatlinburg Area
Length: 2.6 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Easy

Laurel Falls is an 80 foot 2 tier Waterfall that flows down Laurel Branch

Middle Prong Trail

Trail Head Location: Tremont; Upper End
Length: 8 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Moderate To Strenuous

Do you like Waterfalls? Well the Middle Prong Trail is considered by many to be the premier waterfall and cascade hike in the Smokies

Meigs Creek

Trail Head Location: Sinks Parking Lot
Length: 7 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Moderate

Get your hiking sticks because you’re going to need them.


Ramsey Cascades

Trail Head Location: Greenbrier Area
Length: 8 Miles Round Trip
Difficulty: Strenuous

Big Cascades and Even Bigger Trees, that’s the theme of the Ramsey Cascades Trail.


Parking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park remains free to the public. But, as of March 1st, 2023 parking passes are required for stops longer than 15 minutes inside the park.
