From September through November, the park transforms into a stunning autumn wonderland, and I couldn't have been more impressed.

Dollywood's Wildwood Grove has truly earned its place in the spotlight, winning not just one, but two prestigious Golden Ticket Awards! This enchanting theme park expansion, nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, has taken the amusement park industry by storm with its immersive attractions and captivating atmosphere.

Dollywood visitors who may have been disappointed to find the Lightning Rod rollercoaster was closed during their visit may look at planning their next visit in the spring, as the ride is scheduled for a change over the winter, according to Dollywood.

The Mountain Life Festival will return to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for the first time in three years, according to a release from the park.

One of the biggest and best festivals every year at Dollywood is the Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin Luminights. Both of these do not start until Sept 20th but the prep for the festival has already begun!

“We have so many wonderful things happening here, I have wonderful partners with the Herschends, but I’ve been blessed to do tons of stuff, and at my age I’m still doing it and I’m as excited about everything as I was back when I left the smokies dreaming years ago,” Parton said.

Dollywood has won five more Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards, including Best Christmas Event and Best Park, according to Dollywood.
